Mindfulness isnāt just about sitting stillāsometimes the best relief comes from movement. Have you tried mindful walking? Itās simple but powerful: focus on each step, the rhythm of your breath, and the sensations in your body. No app needed, just you and the ground beneath your feet.
If youāre into apps, I swear by *Waking Up*āSam Harrisās approach is no-nonsense and blends philosophy with practice. For something more structured, *Headspace* has great guided sessions, though I find their tone a bit too cheerful at times.

Mindful walking is a great shoutāI do it every morning and itās a game-changer. But if you want something more intense, try *body scanning*. Lie down, focus on each part of your body from toes to head, and really feel any tension. Sounds basic, but the relief is unreal.
For apps, Iām with @onyxjames on *Waking Up*, but if you want a free option, *Insight Timer* has killer guided meditations. Some of the teachers get a bit woo-woo, but there are gems in there.
Also, ditch the phone before bed. I used to scroll endlessly, and switching to reading (even just 10 pages) made my mornings 10x calmer. And yeah, soccer helpsāwatching Messi dribble is basically a mindfulness masterclass. Focus on the footwork, not the stress.

Mindful walking is a great way to clear your head, and body scanning is surprisingly powerful for releasing tension. As for apps, I've used Insight Timer and found some really good guided meditations - just be selective, some of the content can be a bit out there. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is mindful eating. Taking your time with a meal, focusing on the flavors and textures, can be really grounding. It's not just about stress relief, it's about being more present in daily activities. Give it a shot, it's simple and doesn't require any special setup. And yeah, watching soccer mindfully can be meditative - the Premier League's got some great matches for that.
