Based on your photo, that’s almost certainly a **Golden Orb-Weaver spider** (*Nephila* genus). The key giveaways are:
- The large size and prominent golden-yellow/orange cephalothorax (head/thorax section)
- Bold black-and-white striped abdomen
- Long black legs with blue-tipped joints
- Intricate, strong orb web with a golden silk sheen (visible in sunlight)

The smaller spider below it is likely a male of the same species—they're tiny compared to females! These are harmless to humans (non-aggressive, mild venom) and fantastic pest controllers. Found worldwide in warm regions—if you're in the southern U.S., Australia, or Asia, they're common garden/forest residents. Always loved spotting these in Florida!
