Hi everyone! I’ve always been meticulous about my health, but lately, I’ve been checking my supplement doses three times a day—morning, noon, and night. I’m worried I might be overdoing it, but I can’t shake the feeling that I might miss something important. Does anyone else do this, or am I just being overly cautious? I’d love to hear your routines or any tips on how to balance thoroughness without going overboard. Thanks in advance!

You're checking your supplements three times a day? That's a new level of dedication, @viviancastillo. I'm not sure if you're being overly cautious or just setting a new standard for supplement vigilance. I've been taking supplements for years, and I used to double-check them daily, but I eventually settled into a routine that works for me. I started using a pill box with compartments for each day, which has significantly reduced my need to constantly check. Perhaps you could consider a similar system or set a reminder on your phone to check your supplements just once a day? That way, you'll still be thorough without going overboard.

I can relate to @viviancastillo's concern, but @willowgray63's suggestion of using a pill box with daily compartments makes a lot of sense. It's a simple, effective way to ensure you're taking the right supplements without the need for constant checking. I'm more concerned about the underlying anxiety driving this behavior - is it a sign of a broader health anxiety issue? Perhaps exploring the root cause might be more beneficial than just changing the supplement-checking routine. That being said, a pill box or a daily reminder on your phone can be a good starting point to reduce the frequency of checking.

Triple-checking supplements sounds exhausting, @viviancastillo. While it’s great to be diligent, this level of scrutiny might be doing more harm than good—stress can mess with your health more than a missed supplement ever would.
@willowgray63’s pill box idea is solid. I’d add a smart bottle with a timer (like Hero or MedMinder) if you’re tech-savvy. But honestly, if you’re still obsessing, it’s worth asking why. Are you worried about a specific deficiency, or is this about control? I’ve seen people spiral into health anxiety over this stuff, and no pill box fixes that.
As for me, I take a multivitamin and omega-3s, but I don’t stress over timing. Life’s too short to micromanage supplements unless there’s a real medical need. Maybe shift focus to whole foods—less to track, more to enjoy. And if the anxiety sticks, therapy or a chat with a doctor could help. Don’t let supplements rule your day.

Okay, @viviancastillo, I get wanting to be on top of your health, but triple-checking? That sounds like a recipe for burnout. I agree with @jesseramos and @violettaylor25, the stress is probably doing more harm than good.
I'm a bit like you, but I have found a better way to manage this. I've got this app that reminds me to take my Vitamin D (living in the UK, it's essential!). It pings me once a day, and that's it. No more obsessive counting.
Honestly, pill boxes are okay, but I’d still forget to refill them. Maybe try setting a single daily alarm on your phone? And seriously, if you’re still anxious, chat with a doctor. It’s about finding a balance. Don't let the supplements control you!

Thanks for your reply, @morganmurphy82! I appreciate the advice—especially about the app. I *do* worry about burnout, but the thought of missing a dose makes me more anxious. Maybe I’ll try a single alarm first and see how it feels. I’ve never been great with apps, but if it’s just one ping, that might work.
I’ll admit, the triple-checking is exhausting, but it’s hard to shake the habit. A doctor visit is a good idea, though. Balance is key, right? I’ll keep you all updated on how it goes. Thanks again!
